Family Resource Center’s mission:
Located in Logan County, the Family Resource Center is dedicated to encouraging the development of healthy children and strong family units by providing support systems, parent education, and referral services.
Some of our community partners are Rural Solutions (www.rural-solutions.org), Northeast Colorado Childcare Resource and Referral (http://www.ncccrr.org), Early Childhood Council of Logan, Phillips and Sedgwick Counties
(http://www.ecclps.org/), First Presbyterian Church of Sterling(www.firstpressterling.org), Logan County Department of Social Services, Logan County Cooperating Ministries, Teen Mops Program, Baby Bear Hugs and Logan County Literacy Coalition, Help for Abused Partners and Centennial Mental Health.
We participate in Design Team, Coordinating Council of Logan County, D&N stakeholders Team of the 13th Judicial District, Truancy Team, Career expo planning committee, Early Intervention Conferences and individual faith affiliations to remain abreast of family oriented initiatives in the community.
We participate in ongoing education programs funded by Title XX through Social Services, advocacy training through Help for Abused Partners, fatherhood trainings through Colorado's fatherhood program(www.coloradodads.com) and other local training opportunities
Through ongoing contact with our community partners, we stay current in our knowledge about community resources and maintain relationships that support a seamless referral process for our clients.
